Have you ever looked inside of a broken clock, where the gears are stuck and the needles are still? Have you ever moved the still needles of the clock by yourself? This is exactly how I feel about my last year in high school: every event, every story, every year, the needles were manually turned, and suddenly, the clock struck twelve. To start off the senior activities, Big Sis Lil Sis took place, even a portion of it at my own house. My precious little was such a great sport, and I can't think of anyone I'd rather have spent the time with. My actual blood sister was a little sis in the event, and I'm so happy to have shared this experience with her.
Another event that has recently taken place was my last first day in high school. With all of the nostalgia in the air, it was hard to grasp that all of this was true. With silly bows and goofy smiles, it was a new excitement of being the top dogs of the school that made it all count. I can't wait to spend this final year with all of my friends (and maybe learn a thing or two).
xoxo
